Print direction
Fig. 6_94: Print head 1 > Printing direction
Print heads and
print head con-
figuration
Please note: the conveyor runs contrary to the printing direction.
If two nozzle rows are used for printing and a shade (letters are printed
twice at an offset) of 8 mm appears, the printing direction must be
changed.
Sensor distance
Fig. 6_95: Print head 1 > Sensor distance [mm]
The sensor distance designates the distance between the sensor optical
fibre from the first nozzle row (Print head with standard scraper plate:
20 mm).
Further settings for the print heads regarding the labels must be made un-
der "Label/Settings" (see Chapter 7.5). There, the number of print heads
connected can be entered manually. The number of print heads entered
has an influence on the parameter lines shown in the "Print heads" field
(position, mirrored, print direction, sensor, sensor distance).

NOTE
In all the following descriptions, the direction information
is based on position ("?"/"¿") facing the nozzle plates on
the cartridges.
