The condition of the installation site is extremely important for proper operation of the
FSP 3000 C equipment.
This chapter describes planning and preparation activity for a typical
installation. It does not take into account local building or electrical
codes. Check your site-specific planning or consult respective

Site Preparation Checklist
Checking power requirements and power cable requirements must be
performed by a qualified electrician.
As the customer, you are responsible for ensuring that the site conforms
to all requirements and that necessary peripherals are made available to
ADVA Optical Networking Service personnel during installation.
The following checklist summarizes the tasks necessary to ensure your site is ready for
the FSP 3000 C equipment.
