Overview
The FD-48E is a 48 channel DWDM filter module which can support C-band channels
from #19600 GHz through #19130 GHz. The module is used in 48-channel data center
point-to-point applications, along with the MP-2B4CT (configured to 200G 16 QAM
wavelengths). For this purpose, the muxponder and demuxponder filters
multiplex/demultiplex 48 separate channels into/from the full duplex signal carried by the
network fiber pair.
The module supports a fixed 100 GHz channel grid.
