CEM-2
The CEM-2 is not redundant. When the CEM-2 is removed from the shelf:
l External management and timing interfaces stops working
l All fans increase to maximum speed
l Some non-critical internal management of modules stops working
l Due to airflow shortcut, the CEM-2 needs to be reinserted or replaced in less than one
minute
l Airflow shortcut will lead to overheating and eventually a power shutdown of the shelf
