Guide Rail Kits
The following front cover extension kits ship with these FSP 3000 C shelves.
Shelf Kit
SH12 F8/SA-EXT-FC-SH12
SH4R F8/SA-EXT-FC-SH4
With this extension, the SH12 front cover can be extended up to 30
mm and the SH4R front cover can be extended to 25 mm. If you
extend to the maximum extension, the total depth of the shelf
exceeds what is specified in ETSI EN 300 119-3 and as a result,
cannot be installed in an ETSI cabinet.

Use the largest extension if you are using the breakout cables with the MPO24
connectors.
Guide Rail Kits
Due to the depth and weight of a populated SH4R, it is necessary to install one of the
following guide rail kits in the four-post rack.

EQUIPMENT DAMAGE MAY RESULT IF:
A SH4R is installed in a two-post rack. The depth and weight of a
populated shelf may cause structural and mounting bracket damage,
as well as its instability may cause it to fall and become damaged.
The SH4R must only be installed in a four-post rack.
