If power is supplied without the protective grounded, there is a risk
of severe electric shock and may cause personal injury. Whenever
the ground protection is impaired, do not use the shelf and secure
it against any accidental operation.

The FSP 3000 C equipment must be protective grounded in
accordance with local and national electrical codes. Never operate
the equipment in the absence of a suitably installed ground
conductor.

l Ensure that the dedicated AC power outlet is accessible at all times, because the
power plug (attachment plug) of the AC power cable serves as the main disconnecting
device.
l Consider a protective device as part of the building installation: 16 A (or 20 Afor North
America).
