The FSP 3000 C platform is an optical fiber communication system and is intended for
installation in a restricted-access location only.
The equipment of the FSP 3000 C platform meets the
specifications for a Class 1 laser product (21 CFR
1040.10
1
and .IEC 60825-1:2014 Ed. 3.0 compliant)
The equipment of the FSP 3000 C platform meets the
specifications for a Class 1M laser product (21 CFR
1040.10 , IEC 60825-1:2014 Ed. 3.0 and IEC 60825-
2:2004+A1:2006+A2:2010 compliant).
The equipment of the FSP 3000 C platform meets the
specifications for a hazard level 1M product (21 CFR
1040.10 and 1040.11,IEC 60825-1:2014 Ed. 3.0 and IEC
60825-2:2004+A1:2006+A2:2010 compliant).
There are several Class 3B laser sources built in. Do not
open the protective covers under any circumstances.
Only configure your system as specified by ADVA Optical
Networking. For approved configurations, see Permissible
Configurations.
The product is labeled accordingly.
The product is safe under reasonably foreseeable conditions of operation. It may be
hazardous if optics within a diverging or collimated beam are used.

Mishandling and misuse of laser sources can result in a severe eye injury.

Invisible laser radiation is present when the system is open and interlocks
are bypassed. Do not stare into the beam or view directly with optical
instruments.
