Do not remove product safety labels from the FSP 3000 C
equipment.
Safety and Certification Marking Symbols
The following safety and certification marking symbols may be present on the product, on
its packaging, or on the product safety labels.
Symbol Publication Description
IEC 417 Direct current
Present on the product label and indicates that the
equipment requires direct current input. VDC may be
used on power rating labels.
IEC 417 Alternating current
Present on the product label and indicates that the
equipment requires alternating current input. For
rating labels, the symbol is typically replaced by V
and Hz as in 230 V, 50Hz.
IEC 417 Protective ground conductor terminal
Present directly on the product and identifies the
protective conductor terminal (protective ground). It
is placed at the equipment grounding point. The use
of this terminal is mandatory for all grounded
equipment. Protective ground connection protects a
person from potential electric shock in case of a
fault.
