When returning damaged or defective hardware to ADVA Optical Networking for repair:
l Use the original shipping box and packaging material for optimum equipment
protection, inserting the component in a static shielding bag to avoid ESD damage.
l Package your returning unit carefully to ensure safe shipment.
l Clearly mark the outside of the shipping box with the appropriate RMA number.
l Ship only equipment that is authorized by ADVA Optical Networking.
l Include the packing slip and the approved RRF (RMA acknowledgment) in the
shipping box with the returning unit.
l Unless otherwise contractually agreed to, send the defective unit to the following
