12.2 Calibration
MT1000A and MU100010A do not require any calibration in the meaning of
adjustment after shipment from factory.
In order to ensure measurements made by these instruments are within
specifications, Anritsu recommends performance test of the instrument for
quality assurance. The recommended frequency depends on the particular
usage of the instruments, but generally yearly performance test is highly
advised.
The final decision on performance verification frequency is to be taken by
the user, as performance test verifies past measurements rather than
guarantee future measurements.
When performance test of the instrument is ordered to Anritsu, contact an
Anritsu Service and Sales office. Contact information is available in a
separate file on the DVD version of this manual.
