Command Mode
Global Configuration mode
User Guidelines
• Up to 8 SNTP servers can be defined.
• Use the
sntp unicast client enable Global Configuration mode command to enable
predefined unicast clients globally.
• To enable polling you should also use the
sntp unicast client poll Global Configuration mode
command for global enabling.
• Polling time is determined by the
sntp client poll timer Global Configuration mode
command.
• If multiple servers are added then the updates applied are determined by the following:
Unicast Server updates take precedence, followed by Anycast and then Broadcast.
Examples
The following example configures the device to accept Network Time Protocol (NTP) traffic from
the server on 192.1.1.1.
show clock
The show clock User EXEC mode command displays the time and date from the system clock.
Syntax
show clock [detail]
• detail — Shows timezone and summertime configuration.
