User Guidelines
• The command " no speed " in port-channel context returns each port in the port-channel to its
maximum capability.
Example
The following example configures the speed operation of Ethernet g5 to force 100-Mbps operation.
duplex
The duplex Interface Configuration mode command configures the full/half duplex operation of a
given Ethernet interface when not using auto-negotiation. To restore the default, use the
no form
of this command.
Syntax
duplex { half | full }
no duplex
• half —Force half-duplex operation
•
full —Force full-duplex operation
Default Configuration
The interface is set to full duplex.

User Guidelines
• Before attempting to force a particular duplex mode on the port operating at 10/100/1000
Mbps, disable the auto-negotiation on that port.
