The spanning-tree Global Configuration mode command enables spanning-tree functionality. To
disable spanning-tree functionality, use the
no form of this command.
Syntax
spanning-tree
no spanning-tree

Spanning-tree is enabled.

The following example enables spanning-tree functionality.
spanning-tree mode
The spanning-tree mode Global Configuration mode command configures the spanning-tree
protocol. To return to the default configuration, use the
no form of this command.
Syntax
spanning-tree mode { stp | rstp | mstp }
no spanning-tree mode
• stp —STP is the Spanning Tree operative mode.
•
rstp —RSTP is the Spanning Tree operative mode.
•mstp —MSTP is enabled
