LLDP Commands
lldp enable (global)
To enable Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) , use the lldp enable command in global
configuration mode. To disable LLDP, use the
no form of this command.
Syntax
lldp enable
no
lldp enable

Example
The following example enables Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) .
lldp enable (interface)
To enable Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) on an interface, use the lldp enable command in
interface configuration mode. To disable LLDP on an interface, use the
no form of this command.

lldp enable [rx | tx | both]

• rx — Receive only LLDP packets.
•
tx —Transmit only LLDP packets.
•
both — Receive and transmit LLDP packets (default)

Enabled in both modes.
