7.27.17 router pim dense-mode
This command enables Protocol-Independent Multicast - Dense Mode (PIM-
DM) globally for the router and enters router configuration mode. Use the no
form to disable PIM-DM multicast routing.
Syntax
[no] router pim dense-mode

Command Usage
This command enables PIM-DM globally for the router. PIM-DM also needs
to be enabled for each interface that will support multicast routing using the
ip pim dense-mode command (page 1124), and any changes necessary
to the multicast protocol parameters made.
