Remote Replication Workflow
The following steps show the general procedure for configuring and using remote
replication. For information about remote replication concepts, see “Remote Replication

1.
Check software compatibility on source and target appliances.

Set up network interfaces and routing.

Set up a replication target.

Checking Source and Target Appliance Compatibility
Remote Replication is compatible between most Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance software
versions. Compatibility failures are caused if a replication update uses a feature that is not
