• Apply recommended grease to the hemisphere oil-seal
(14); position it using extension case (13) and fix extension
case using screws (12) to the specified tightening torque.
Tightening torque for screws fixing plate of the oil-
seal:
0.8 ÷ 1.1 Kg-m (8 ÷ 11 Nm)

Hub installation
• Apply recommended sealant to surfaces connecting flange
(10) housing (17), lubricate flange oil-seal closing lip and
hubing centred using recommended grease.
• Apply grease to constant velocity, grease of drive shaft
(11), install it on shaft and install the flange (10) with the
cotter pin holder (36) upwards; fix flange with screws (37)
to the specified tightening torque.
Tightening torque for screws fixing flange:
3.5 ÷ 4.25 Kg-m (35 ÷ 42.5 Nm)

• Fit a hub (9), fixing it with cotter pin (8) and adjusting nut
(6) fully tightening to set bearings; untightening it
progressively as longitudinal play checkings take place
using a dial gauge, as shown below.
NOTE:
Apply 250 gr. of recommended grease to constant
velocity gasket of drive shaft.
