Installation
1) Installation flywheel; then install flywheel bolts temporarity.
NOTE:
• Before reinstalling flywheel bolts, measure thread
diameter using a micrometer. If any measure is lower
than 10,8 mm, replace them.
• Because the play between flywheel bolts and their
pass holes, the relative position of flywheel from
crankshaft must be determined before retighten
flywheel permanently.
2) Synchronize and tighten flywheel or follows:
• Rotate crankshaft to align mark (A) on camshaft timing
belt pulley. With mark (B) on plungers cover. Then insert
special tool 790965 into camshaft hole (8) on driving gear
(7) and into block hole placed in front of (8) ; if it is not
possible, slowly rotate crankshaft two complete turns, until
align marks (A) and (B).
• Without moving the crankshaft, insert special tool (C)
790965 into flywheel cover synchronization hole; rotate
flywheel as its play with his bolts allows, until tool (C) get
into flywheel milling ( ) . Lock flywheel rotation and
tigthen bolts in two phases:
Thightening torque flywheel bolts:
• 1

phase: torque wrench approximation:
5 ± 0,5 kg-m (50 ± 5 Nm)
• 2
nd
phase: angular tightening:
90º ± 10º
