Locks and hinges (Item 5.1)
Inspection and lubrication
1) Check the correct operation of door and hood locks, ensuring
that the principal and the secondary security locks work
properly in each one of them.
2) Lubricate hinges and locks operating them while oiling.
Chassis and silent-block bodywork supports
(Item 5.2)
Inspection
1) Inspect chassis to check for deformations, worrying
knockings and breakings, peeling of protective paint or hints
of corrosion.
2) Verify the worthiness of the silent block body supports,
ensuring that the rubber is in good condition and the fixing
elements are firmly tightened.
NOTE:
• Silent blocks are designed to last a life time. If one of
them gets damaged, it could be due to the acciden-
tal contact with contaminating liquids.
• When a silent block is substituted, investigate
previously the reason why it got damaged.
• Repair or substitute any anomalous or faulty piece
detected during the inspection.
Optical Equipment, Acoustic and Wiring
(Item 5.3)
Inspection
1) Check lighting, signalizing and braking lights.
2) Check vertical and horizontal alignment of the head lights.
3) Check the signalling equipment of the instruments panel
and the horn.
4) Inspect visually the wirings in the engine compartment and
the general electrical installation to check for rubbings, braces
tearing, etc...
NOTE:
Repair or substitute faulty or anomalous pieces found
during the inspection.
