STEERING WHEEL, COLUMN AND LOWER SHAFT 3C-9
2) Connect steering column (2) with the lower shaft (6); aligning
plane (A) of the threading with the fixing nut.
3) Fix lower shaft to the steering column tightening fixing screw
(5) to the specified torque
Tightening torque for the screw connecting lower shaft
and steering column: 2 ÷ 3 Kg-m (20 ÷ 30 Nm)
CAUTION:
Always assemble a new and original connecting
screw (5).
4) Fix the steering column in its lower end, tightening to the
specified torque.
Tightening torque for screws fixing the lower end of
the steering column: 1,8 ÷ 2,8 Kg-m (18 ÷ 28 Nm)

5) Install upper fixing support (1) of steering lower shaft to the
body and fix it with the appropriate screws tightened to the
specified torque.
Tightening torque of upper fixing screws of the steering
lower shaft: 1,8 ÷ 2,8 Kg-m (18 ÷ 28 Nm)
6) Assemble the rest of the components reversing the
dismantling order, noting the specified tightening torques.
