(2) When “DETECTOR” is set to “On” and “IGNITE” is set to “Off” on the [SYSTEM] key
main screen.

NOTE When the ignition fails initially, ignition sequence is reattempted. If the ignition is successful in the
reattempted sequence, the message “Ignition finished (retried)” appears. If the ignition sequences are
failed five times, the message “DET#n ignition failed” appears and the ignition sequence finishes.
On the [DET] key main screen, set the
detector to “On”.
Press [Start GC] (PF menu).
([SYSTEM] key main screen)
Wait until the detector temperature
increases to the temperature set.
Press [Ignit] (PF menu) to ignite the
FID.
The baseline should indicate whether
ignition was successful.
The message “Ignition finished.” appears,
and the ignition is completed.
Press [Start GC] (PF menu) on the
[SYSTEM] key main screen.
On the [DET] key main screen, set the
FID Control to “On”.
Wait until the detector temperature
increases to the temperature set.
Press [Ignit] (PF menu) to ignite the FID.
The baseline should indicate whether
ignition was successful.
The message “Ignition finished.” appears,
and the ignition is completed.
