DETERGENT INJECTION
Configure Flow Rates
9-174 Aquastorm™ Series Options Guide Rev. 1
9
Example Use the following formulae to calculate high and low detergent concentrations.
For these calculations the inlet water pressure is 207 kPa (30 psia) and viscosity
of the detergent is 75.
To determine maximum concentration:
Use #16 nozzle with metering screw fully open to achieve maximum concen-
tration.
To determine minimum concentration:
Use #18 nozzle with metering screw fully open to achieve minimum concen-
tration.
By changing nozzles and adjusting metering set screws, operators can achieve
detergent concentrations from 0.3% to 6.3%.
Using detergent with different viscosity changes concentrations. Check
concentrations using formulae calculations.
