Preventive Maintenance
Introduction A strong preventive maintenance program is the best method to cut costs,
increase system reliability, and enhance productivity. The time used for cleaning,
inspecting, and servicing ensures consistent production quality and increases the
extended service life of the machine.
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage observe the following:
CAUTION
Qualified maintenance staff should perform the following cleaning steps. If any
damage to the radiant heater elements or unit is detected, contact Electrovert
Customer Service.
Hot Surface
Radiant heaters can reach temperatures up to 74 °C (165 °F). To avoid the
possibility of serious burns, allow the heaters to cool before servicing. Never
operate a radiant heater outside of the Aquastorm™ system cabinet.
Maintenance Schedule Refer to the following maintenance schedule to ensure proper machine and option
operation.
Tools and Materials
required:
Use the following tools and materials for radiant heater cleaning:
• Lint free soft cloths
• Mild solution of descaling cleaner
Monthly Maintenance — Every 160 hours of Operation
Cleaning Procedure Reference
Inspect radiant heater for hard water deposits
and clean if inspection warrants
Verify temperature setting
