HURRICANE JETS™ AND PUMPS
Theory of Operation

Theory of Operation
Introduction The single, upper Hurricane Jet™ provides a vertical sheet of high pressure water
across the entire width of the conveyor toward the top of the Printed Circuit
Board (PCB). This upper action offers excellent top PCB penetration and cleaning.
In dual, upper and lower installations, both Hurricane Jet™ provides the same
vertical sheet of high pressure across the entire width of the conveyor. The upper
sheet covers the top of the PCB and the lower sheet covers the bottom of the
PCB. This dual action offers excellent top and bottom PCB penetration and
cleaning.
Depending on the specific process, adjust the water flow On/Off ball valve to
increase or decrease water flow. When the valve lever is parallel to the pipe it is
in the full On position. When the valve lever is at a right angle to the pipe it is in
the full Off position.
