Lubricate Conveyor Drive Chain
Introduction The conveyor drive motor is located in the lower section of the sound enclosure
at the exit end of all Aquastorm™ systems. The lower chain connects the motor to
the conveyor drive shaft. The other chain connects the conveyor drive shaft to
the conveyor turn shaft and is visible through the conveyor belt. These chains
require annual inspection and greasing.
Photographs Figure 6–24 shows the lower chain location.

Tools and Materials
Required
Use the following tools and materials:
• Magna-Lube™ G high temperature lubricant
• Phillips screwdriver
Procedure Use the following steps to access the lower motor chain:
1. Shut down Aquastorm™ system operation.
2. Ensure system power is Off.
3. Use a phillips screwdriver to remove the lower sound enclosure exit cover.
4. Use the high temperature lubricant and rub a light layer of grease on the drive
chain.
5. Replace the lower sound enclosure exit cover.
