Replace Light Tower Bulb
Introduction Occasionally a light bulb will burn out. When one (1) lens of a status light tower
fails to illuminate check the light bulb and replace if necessary.
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage observe the following:
Electrical Hazard
If a status light tower lens fails to illuminate properly or is damaged, ensure a
qualified electrical engineer performs the check out procedure.
Photographs Figure 5–3 shows the interior of a light tower lens and a replacement light bulb.
Figure 5–4 shows the light tower base and groove and the alignment arrow on a
light tower lens.

Tools and Materials Use the following tools and materials to replace a burned out light bulb:
• Flat head screwdriver
• Phillips head screwdriver
• 24 V DC bullet style light bulb
