Installation
Sump Pump Installation
Introduction When a single Sump Pump option is ordered the sump normally connects to the
system single drain inlet and effluent. When a dual Sump Pump option is ordered,
one (1) Sump Pump connects to the system rinse/final rinse inlet and effluent.
The other Sump Pump connects to the system wash inlet and effluent.
The optional Sump Pump assembly ships configured with the necessary electrical
connectors and one (1) 610 cm (20 in.) connector cable. The customer is
responsible to supply the following plumbing connections:
One (1) set 1½ in. CPVC drain plumbing for single sump units
One (1) set 1 in. facility drain plumbing for single sump units
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage, observe the following:
CAUTION
A qualified plumber and an electrical engineer or an Electrovert service technician
must install the sump pump.
ATTENTION
Ensure Teflon

tape is used on all threaded plumbing fittings. The Sump
assembly is designed to be positioned at the wash side of the exit end of the
Aquastorm™ systems.
ATTENTION
When one (1) sump is installed, use connector and receptacle PG26. When two
(2) sumps are installed, sump pump #1 uses connector and receptacle PG26 and
sump pump #2 uses connector and receptacle PG27.
