Preventive Maintenance
Overview
Introduction A strong preventive maintenance program is the best method to cut costs,
increase system reliability, and enhance productivity. The time used for cleaning,
inspecting, and servicing ensures consistent production quality and increases the
extended service life of the machine.
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage observe the following:
CAUTION
Qualified maintenance staff should perform the following cleaning steps. If any
damage to the light tower or connections is detected, contact Electrovert
Customer Service.
Electrical Hazard
If a status light tower fails to operate properly or is damaged, ensure a qualified
electrical engineer performs the check out procedure.
Materials required Use the following materials for cleaning:
• White, lint-free cloth
• All purpose ammonia based cleaner
Maintenance Schedule Refer to the following maintenance schedule to ensure proper machine and option
operation.
Procedure Perform the following routine maintenance
1. Clean the status tower using a white, lint free, soft cloth and an all purpose
ammonia based cleaner.
2. Inspect for damage.
Daily Maintenance — Every eight (8) hours of Operation
