Nozzle Orifice Cleaning
Introduction After removing the upper or lower nozzle clean the nozzle orifice. See Remove
Single/Upper Nozzle on page 212. See Remove Lower Nozzle on page 216.
Safety To avoid equipment damage observe the following:
ATTENTION
Be sure not to gouge, nick, or bend the orifice during cleaning. Also be sure not to
insert the feeler gauge too deeply. Altering the orifice or internal spray bar
adversely affects the normal sheeting action produced by the Hurricane Jet™
nozzle.
ATTENTION
Ensure all white, Teflon® gaskets are in good condition. Replace if necessary. The
Hurricane Jet™ will not function properly without the gasket.

slit for cleaning.
