Dryer #3 Dryer module #3 specifications:
• Add-on width of 762 mm (30 in.)
• One (1) 254 mm (10 in.) top bulkhead exhaust port
• Two (2) temperature monitor thermocouple sensors
• Tubular stainless steel airknives:
Two (2) adjustable upper airknives
One(1) lower fixed airknife
• One (1) 7.5 HP high velocity centrifugal blower
• Sound dampening padding
Dryer #3 Options Blower dryer #3 can be further enhanced with two (2) additional options.
• Replace the standard 7.5 HP or optional 10 HP blower motor with a 15 HP
high velocity centrifugal blower. For detailed information on blower upgrades
refer to Dryer Blower Upgrades on page 312.
• Add the Side Connector Airknife Technology (SCAT) optimized side connec-
tor drying system. For detailed information on this option refer to SCAT on
page 283.
Photograph Figure 14–3 shows the Side Connector Airknife Technology package installed in
Dryer #1 or add-on Dryer #3.
