NATURAL GAS HEATING
Operation
12-230 Aquastorm™ Series Options Guide Rev. 1

Operation
Introduction Connect facility water to the natural gas water heater using standard plumbing
connections and fittings. Heated water from one (1) natural gas water heater
flows into the wash tank and cycles through normal Aquastorm™ processing. A
3.5 HP water pump pumps water out of the wash tank and back into the natural
gas water heater to be reheated. This cycle runs continuously, and provides a
consistent source of heated water for system operation.
Aquastorm 200™ systems require two (2) natural gas water heats. One (1)
connects to the wash tank. The second connects to the rinse tank and cycles the
water in the same manner as the wash tank.
Photograph Figure 12–2 shows the front bulkhead of the wash section with a 3.5 HP water
pump installed and identifies the water inlet and exit locations.
