Stop System Operation
Introduction Prior to beginning preventive maintenance shut down system operation and turn
Off water inlet lines.
Photograph Figure 11–9 shows a ball valve handle in the full Off position, at a right angle to
the plumbing line.

Procedure Prepare the system for maintenance as follows:
1. Shut down Aqauastorm™ system operation.
2. Ensure system power is Off.
3. Perform Lock-Out Tag-Out steps. See Lock-Out Tag-Out on page 10.
4. Remove the rear machine panels covering the wash or rinse module where
the Hurricane Jet™ nozzle is installed.
5. Turn the water On/Off valve to the Off position, at a right angle to the plumb-
ing line.
6. Move to the front of the machine.
7. Open the wash or rinse module front window.
8. Unlatch the splash shield latches, remove the splash shield, and carefully set
it aside in a safe place.
9. Remove Hurricane Jet™ nozzle. See Remove Single/Upper Nozzle on page
212. See Remove Lower Nozzle on page 216.
