Overview
Introduction The Electrovert service person performing installation or the system administrator
should configure the machine.
After installing a password keyswitch, the system software must be configured
to recognize it. The configuration screens interface with the system software.
System software may lock up if the operator attempts to configure items that do
not exist on the system.
ATTENTION
The keyswitch comes with two (2) sets of three (3) keys.
— Key #3 allows access to all keyswitch positions and all system functions.
— Key #2 allows access to positions 0, 1, and 2.
— Key #1 accesses positions 0 and 1.
— No key is required for position 0 operation.

Navigating the menu
screens
To access and navigate the configuration screens:
• Press the Menu key on the LDC Interface key pad to access the main configu-
ration screen.
• Scroll between the configuration screens by pressing the page up or page
down keys.
• Move the underline screen cursor to a specific option by pressing the up or
down arrow keys. Press the Enter key to toggle between selection choices.
