Installation
Prepare the pH Monitor for Initial Operation
Introduction When the Aquastorm™ system ships with a pH monitor option installed, the blue
buffer solution cap is left on the top of the pH monitor. The buffer solution cap
must be removed before operation, however, the end of the pH monitor must
always remain moist or immersed, if not, pH monitor operation can be affected.
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage observe the following:
CAUTION
The pH monitor tip must remain moist at all times. The pH monitor unit ships with
the blue plastic cap in place. DO NOT removed the blue plastic cap until the lower
end of the pH monitor is immersed in water. DO NOT lose the blue tip. It must be
replaced whenever the tank water is drained or pH monitor operation could be
compromised.
ATTENTION
A maintenance person with plumbing experience must prepare the pH monitor for
operation.
