Blower Fail Detect
Introduction The blower fail detect provides an electronic monitor of blower operation. When a
blower motor fails, a blower belt does not work properly or fails, or airknives
become clogged the blower fail detect system activates and initiates a hardware
alarm that stops machine operation.
The blower fail detect option is available for all dryer blowers in all Aquastorm™
systems. Only Aquastorm 200™ systems can be configured to use the optional
chemical isolation unit and blower. A blower fail detect unit can also be installed
on the chemical isolation blower motor.
Diagram Figure 2–23 shows a close up view of a blower fail detect unit installed in the
high voltage electrical panel.
