Fill Tank and Resume System Operation
Introduction After performing quarterly maintenance on the detergent storage tank, return the
tank to the prewash storage area and fill it with saponifier.
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage observe the following:
CAUTION
Arrange for two (2) people to move or lift the storage tank to avoid possible
injury.
ATTENTION
Do not overfill the storage tank. Leave approximately 25 to 38 mm (1 to 1.5 in.)
distance between the liquid and the top of the detergent storage tank.
Materials required Use the following materials:
• MSDS for saponifier used
Procedure Use the following steps to complete tank quarterly maintenance:
1. Complete tank cleaning steps. See Drain Tank and Check Low Level Sensor
on page 184.
2. Reconnect any plumbing or electrical connections removed during cleaning.
3. Have two (2) people lift and place the storage tank into the prewash storage
area.
4. Lift the storage tank lid and pour saponifier into the detergent storage tank
not higher than 25 to 38 mm (1 to 1.5 in.) from the top of the tank.
5. Close the storage tank lid.
6. Replace the detergent delivery tube into the detergent storage tank and
ensure the end is at the bottom of the tank.
7. Replace rear panels on system.
8. Remove Lock-Out Tag-Out tags. See Lock-Out Tag-Out on page 10.
