General Cleaning
Introduction The maintenance process is broken down into several procedures. Refer to the
specific procedure for details on the required maintenance. Visual inspection of
nozzles and their operation should be part of the standard daily maintenance
procedures.
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage observe the following:
CAUTION
If a nozzle fails to operate properly or is damaged, ensure a qualified plumber
performs the check out procedure.
ATTENTION
If a replacement Hurricane Jet™ nozzle assembly is required contact Electrovert
customer support.
Tools required Use the following tools during the cleaning and preventive maintenance
procedures:
• Phillips head screwdriver
• 8 mm hex head wrench
• 16 mm hex head wrench
• 0.020 feeler gauge
• Clear Silicone sealant
• 5/32 allen wrench
Materials required Use the following materials for external cleaning:
• White, lint-free cloth
• All purpose ammonia based cleaner
Procedure Perform the following routine maintenance
1. Clean the nozzle support bracket and nozzle assembly using a white, lint free,
soft cloth and an all purpose ammonia based cleaner.
2. Inspect for damage.
