Preventive Maintenance
Introduction A strong preventive maintenance program is the best method to cut costs,
increase system reliability, and enhance productivity. The time used for cleaning,
inspecting, and servicing ensures consistent production quality and increases the
extended service life of the machine.
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage observe the following:
ATTENTION
Qualified maintenance staff should perform the following cleaning steps. If any
damage to the fan assembly, or port, is found, contact Electrovert Customer
Service.
ATTENTION
If an air fan fails to operate properly or is damaged contact Electrovert customer
support.
Maintenance Schedule Refer to the following maintenance schedule to ensure proper machine and option
operation.
Tools required Use the following materials for cleaning:
• Shop vacuum
Procedure Perform the following routine maintenance:
1. Check the air fans and ensure the area above and below them is clean and
free of debris. If necessary, use a shop vacuum to remove dust or debris.
2. Inspect for damage.
3. Ensure air intake port is connected to the external exhaust.
Quarterly Maintenance — Every 480 Hours of Operation
Cleaning Procedure Reference
Use a shop vacuum to remove dust or debris
from above and below fan unit.
Inspect fan assembly for proper operation
