Checkmate™ Hold Down Conveyor Installation
Introduction At the entrance end an upper conveyor gently lays across the top of PCBs as they
travel on the lower conveyor. This conveyor setup option is designed for product
that could normally be jostled, elevated, or even flipped during the cleaning or
drying process.
Perform this procedure if the Aquastorm™ system ordered includes the
Checkmate™ hold down conveyor.
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage observe the following:
CAUTION
The smooth side of the Checkmate™ conveyor wire belt must face down. The
smooth side of the main conveyor wire must face up. If the two smooth sides do
not face each other, damage to product can occur.
Entanglement Hazard
All moving parts of the Aquastorm system, including pulleys, sprockets, chains,
and the conveyor represent potential hazards. Use caution and avoid having
hands or fingers caught in any moving mechanism. Long hair, jewelry, and other
parts of loose attire could be caught in moving mechanisms and cause injury.
ATTENTION
To pull the wire belt through the system, reach inside the window port of each
stage and pull the wire belt through each section.
ATTENTION
It is recommended that at least two (2) people perform this installation.
