IR Heater
Introduction The radiant heater (IR) incorporates two (2) radiant heater panels, one (1) upper
panel and one (1) lower panel. A thermocouple sensor provides radiant heater
control and readout. The thermocouple provides digital temperature readout via
the LCD keypad.
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage observe the following:
Hot Surface
Radiant heaters can reach temperatures up to 74 °C (165 °F). Never operate a
radiant heater outside of the Aquastorm™ system cabinet.
Photograph Figure 2–19 shows a radiant heater installed in dryer module #2 or #4 with
optional Electrosonic™ Air Knives to enhance drying:
