General Cleaning
Introduction The maintenance process is broken down into several procedures. Refer to the
specific procedure for details on the required maintenance. Visual inspection of
level sensors, pump, plumbing, electrical connections, and their operation should
be part of the standard daily maintenance procedures.
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage observe the following:
CAUTION
If a sump pump unit fails to operate properly or is damaged, ensure qualified
electrical and plumbing maintenance engineers performs the check out procedure.
Tools required Use the following tools during the cleaning and preventive maintenance
procedures:
• Shop vac
Materials required Use the following materials for external cleaning:
• White, lint-free cloth
• All purpose ammonia based cleaner
Procedure Perform the following routine maintenance
