Natural Gas Heating
Natural Gas
Introduction In certain locations, heating water using natural gas represents a considerable
cost savings. To take advantage of this cost savings, Aquastorm™ systems can
be configured to use natural gas rather than electricity to heat system water.
This option is available for the wash module of all Aquastorm™ systems using one
(1) 180 Liter (50 gal.) capacity gas water heater. Aquastorm 200™ systems can
install one (1) additional 180 Liter (50 gal.) tank for the rinse module using a total
of two (2) gas water heaters.
ATTENTION
The natural gas heating option is NOT available as a field upgrade. The machine
must be returned to the factory for refurbishing to convert from the standard
electric water heating process to the optional natural gas heating connections.
The heaters must be connected to natural gas by a qualified plumber in areas
where natural gas is available.
Safety To ensure personal safety and avoid equipment damage observe the following:
Flammable
Natural gas is flammable. Refer to the local natural gas supply company for safe
natural gas usage.
No Open Flames
Be sure to keep all open flames away from natural gas plumbing fixtures and
heating units.
