6. Unscrew the ring lock nut to loosen the lid lock ring.
7. Unlatch the ring lock nut from the lid lock ring. Set it aside in a safe place.
8. Remove the cylinder lid and place it with the lid lock ring in a safe place.
9. Check o-ring gasket for cuts, cracks, or breaks. Replace if necessary.
