Remove/Replace Bag Filter

Procedure Use the following steps to remove/replace the bag filter:
1. Squeeze the plastic handles of the felt bag filter together to remove it from
the mesh basket.
2. Pull the felt bag filter up and out of the basket and cylinder.
3. Check the mesh basket for debris.
4. If debris is noted stop this procedure and proceed to Clean Mesh Basket on
page 247.
5. If mesh basket is clean, continue with this procedure.
6. Squeeze the plastic handles of the replacement bag filter together.
7. Slide the replacement felt bag filter into the cylinder and basket.
8. Release the plastic handles and ensure the top ring seats into the mesh bas-
ket.
9. Replace the cylinder lid and reverse the removal steps to close and seal the bag fil-
ter cylinder. See Access Bag Filter on page 243.
