Install Sound Enclosure

Tools and materials Use the following tools and materials to install the sound enclosure:
• Forklift or rigging device
• 10 mm socket and wrench
• M6 x 40 hex head bolts
• M6 flat washers
•M6 lock washers
•M6 hex nuts
• One (1) 101.6 mm (4 in.) section of 38 mm (1.5 in.) hose
• Two (2) hose clamps
Procedure Refer to the following steps to begin the installation process.
1. Ensure the singe or dual add-on dryer unit and stainless steel frame are
installed and bolted securely in place.
2. Place the 101.6 mm (4 in.) section of 38 mm (1.5 in.) hose and one (1) hose
clamp onto the cut end of the CPVC sink drain pipe. Tighten the hose clamp
securely.
3. Position the utility sink and sound enclosure unit at the exit end of the Aquas-
torm™ system cabinet.
Procedure Refer to the following steps and Figure 14–6 on page 264 to connect unit.
1. Locate and remove the 24 sets of M6 hardware.
2. Install two (2) M6 x 40 hex head bolts with M6 flat washers into the top right
and left corner mounting holes, from the inside of the dryer section.
3. Use these two (2) bolts and holes to align the sound enclosure to the Aquas-
torm™ system exit end bulkhead mounting holes.
4. Secure the two (2) sets of hardware installed in Step 2. by installing an M6
flat washer, M6 lock washer, and an M6 hex nut on the bolts protruding from
the inside of the exit end of the cabinet.
5. Hand tighten the two (2) sets of hardware to hold the enclosure in place until
installation of all additional mounting hardware is complete.
6. Install the remaining 22 sets of hardware in the mounting holes in the same
manner as the first two (2) were installed.
7. Tighten all bolts securely.
Procedure Use the following steps to complete installation:
1. Slide the hose clamp onto the opposite cut end of the CPVC sink drain pipe.
2. Align the cut end of the CPVC sink drain pipe with the 101.6 mm (4 in.) sec-
tion of 38 mm (1.5 in.) hose and slide them together.
3. Slide the hose clamp onto the opposite end of the hose and tighten securely.
1. Refer to the plumbing schematics and reconnect the system drain and inlet
plumbing.
