Materials required Use the following materials for cleaning:
• MSDS for any chemicals used
• Clean facility water
Procedure Use the following steps to empty and clean the sump pump tank:
1. Follow standard preventive maintenance procedures to drain the Aquastorm™
system tanks. For detailed system preventive maintenance information refer
to the Aquastorm Series™ Preventive Maintenance Manual.
2. Open the sump pump tank lid.
3. Use a shop vac to remove all liquid and any debris from the sump pump tank.
4. If necessary, dispose of it according the chemical MSDS.
5. Rinse and wipe down the sump pump tank with clear water and white, lint
free cloths.
6. Check and clean the level sensor assemblies inside the tank.
7. Ensure the level sensor assemblies are clean of buildup or corrosion and that
the sensor ends move freely.
8. Check all plumbing lines to ensure fittings are tight and there are not leaks.
9. Check all electrical connections and ensure they are seated and there are no
frayed wires.
10.Close the sump pump tank lid and resume system operation. For detailed
information refer to the Aquastorm 200™ or Aquastorm 100™ Programming
and Operation Manual.
