Figure 3-46. Create a Vertical Profile
On the Vertical profile dialog box, create your vertical profiles:
• Add – press to enter an element and its respective information,
then press Ok to save the information (
Figure 3-47 on page 3-
33).
– Element: select the type of element; either Curve or Point.
– Station: enter the station number.
– Elevation: enter the elevation of the element.
– Observe: press Observe to measure the element, instead of
manually entering in the values.
– Station of IP: enter the station number for the IP (PI).
– Elevation of PI: enter the elevation for the PI.
– Curve Length: enter the length of the curve.
– Grade Start VC: enter the grade at the start of the vertical
curve.
– Grade End VC: enter the grade at the end of the vertical
curve.
