n When Installing a Battery on the Host Controller
1. Turn ON only the control power supply to the SERVOPACK.
2. Remove the old battery and mount a new battery.
3. Turn OFF the control power supply to the SERVOPACK to clear the A.830 alarm
(Absolute Encoder Battery Error).
4. Turn ON the control power supply to the SERVOPACK again.
5. Make sure that the alarm has been cleared and that the SERVOPACK operates
normally.
n When Using an Encoder Cable with a Battery Case
1. Turn ON only the control power supply to the SERVOPACK.
If you remove the battery or disconnect the Encoder Cable while
the control power supply to the SERVOPACK is OFF, the absolute
encoder data will be lost.
2. Open the cover of the Battery Case.
