n When Resetting Fails
If you attempted to reset the absolute encoder when the servo was ON in
the SERVOPACK, the following dialog box will be displayed and processing
will be canceled.

Click the OK Button. The Main Window will return. Turn OFF the servo and
repeat the procedure from step 1.
n When Resetting Is Successful
The following dialog box will be displayed when the absolute encoder has
been reset.

8. To enable the change to the settings, turn the power supply to the SERVOPACK
OFF and ON again.

6.17 Setting the Origin of the Absolute Encoder
6.17.1 Absolute Encoder Origin Offset
The origin offset of the absolute encoder is a correction that is used to set the origin of the
machine coordinate system in addition to the origin of the absolute encoder. Set the offset
between the absolute encoder origin and the machine coordinate system position in
Home Offset (607Ch).
