A PROFINET Alarm Notification Protocol Data Unit (PDU) is made of a generic diag-
nosis header followed by a variable number of diagnosis blocks. The header specifies the
submodule associated with the diagnosis and the type of the diagnosis blocks.
When a fault or alarm situation occurs in the drive, the PROFINET communication inter-
face will send an alarm notification (structure see table below), which the master station
has to acknowledge.
